PERSISTENCE

Do you remember the time when you dreamt of becoming someone during childhood? At that time you were so obsessed of becoming that person once you grow up and after few years you no longer remember any of that. It feels strange but most of us have been through it. Many of us wanted to become a teacher, cop, lawyer, principal, doctor, firefighter etc. but we didn't know or understand how to go about it.

We constantly get attracted to things and people surrounding us knowingly or unknowingly and the influence grows over a period of time. As a child when we saw something, be it a toy, candy or ice-cream, we used to scream, cry and create all sorts of trouble to our parents or guardians till they got us the things we wanted. As we grow up to be independent and started understanding how things worked, we made wiser decisions and choices in our lives.

In today's world, we are uncertain about what things we need or want and are unhappy with whatever we have. In search of something more pleasing we are constantly moving from one thing to another and after a point of time you give up. Many people working today need a stable job with good work-life balance over a high paying job. The key to getting what we want is the mindset and persistence to pursue it in spite of all challenges.
